Here's a little something I've been doing every day for a little while now. I try to do at least a page of these a day before drawing anything else.

Just a quick doodle of a standee at work for the movie Gloria. Incidentally, my grandmother's name is Gloria.

Just a quick sketch of Bronx from Gargoyles. Have I mentioned that this is my favorite cartoon?

Karl Gnass Caricature

Here's a caricature of my storyboard teacher, the great Karl Gnass. I never actually showed this to him. Perhaps I should if I take his class again. He's a pretty cool guy who despite that sometimes looks very annoyed with everything.

One Cool Cat

Fun fact: I don't like cats. At least not real ones. Most likely because I'm allergic to them. But some of my favorite cartoon characters have been cats and I do enjoy drawing them. You know what else I enjoy? The Kid's Story segment from The Animatrix, mainly because of that rough animation style. That's something I tried to capture here. Sometimes when I come up with characters I like to give them theme songs. I'd like to think his theme song is Mellow My Man by The Roots.
